*This post was done in Bali cuz I brought my laptop to do my assignment in Bali..

Bali Day 1, 2 and 3

Nothing much happened on the 1^st day at Bali.

We took off around 9.40am and reached at roughly 12.30pm at the airport in Bali.
Seat onboard AirAsia are really crap IMHO…
It’s so tight that I’d rather just parachute off the plane -_-
(p/s- more bombing for AirAsia ahead..but it will be in a different post from Bali post..don’t wanna spoil the Bali thread)

Anyhow…On the first day itself we took a long ride to our hotel at the outskirts of Kuta Town.
Gosh I swear you have to take a look at their roads…its horrendous…
If I were to stay in Bali, I wouldn’t want to take my driving license…
The roads are so messed up and small and tight with motorcyclist zooming in and out, cutting here and there. Well enough said…I just wonder what the motorcyclist death toll in Bali are like.
The jams are zomg awful… a ride from our hotel to the town is enough to make your butt go numb.

One more bomb to bomb before I go on to the good stuff… haha…
Bali is full of swindlers wtf.. like seriously,
Uncle Richard wanted to change some money at a so called “Authorized Money Changer”
And yet Amelia could see the guy swiftly hiding the money he was counting under the counter.
Damn stupid lor the fella…wanna tipu also don’t know how to..
At any rate he was found out and Uncle Richard took all his cash back….

One more thing is.. if you’re visiting Bali..
Never ever ever ever ever buy news paper from people selling it on the road while you’re in a jam.
My dad got conned…
He bought a Daily Telegraph newspaper supposedly imported from UK
And he found out it that it was dated on the 10^th October 2008.
They cleverly scrapped the date off the front page and sold it for RP70,000 which costs around RM20…
WTF right? He got taunted all the way la…
With RP70,000, we could have bought 3 tee-shirts or have lunch, or whatever la…
Better than buying outdated imported newspaper wtf…

Having said all those, Bali ain’t such a bad place….
Okay fine….without the bombs maybe it would be better…
I’ve gotta say I was afraid of suicide bombers all the time I was in Bali.

Anyway it was Sale time at Bali and we got lots of cheap branded stuffs there…
QuickSilver, ROXY, and DCshoecousa was going at 80% off at one point…
Gosh…I almost died seeing those discounted figures…
I could never have dream of buying a QS item at RM26 in Malaysia….
Sweet…everywhere we went, we saw Ripcurl, Billabong, QuickSilver, ROXY, bla bla bla..
Surf's a big hit at Bali =o

We can’t swim at the beach though…
The seas are too rough..but purrrfect for surfing =D

Not everything is branded in Bali anyway;
We have other good local made stuff like fake boardshorts by Balibong…Sweet eh?
And also local handicraft….Balineses are really good sculpturers =D
Damn skilful with wood lor…
However some of them are obviously massed produced…
But anyhow..still cheap though…
I think I got like 3packs of keychain at RM5 =D
But of course I bargained until siao la.

My mum…no need say ba…..
I think she slashed the price up to 95% sia….
Makan kao kao..kesian those traders lol…

And their tee-shirts also damn nice design…
see…some good stuffs come cheap…with effective bargaining of course XD

Food also not bad at the outskirts of Kuta…quite cheap also eh….
But in Kuta Town no need to say la…. All expensive sia..cuz tourist area…
Bloooday expensiiiiveeee siaaaa deng…..
One lunch can go up to RM 60 per person

However the outskirts of town got good food..
Very cheap too….

Kuta Town got lotsa leng luiz haha
Alot of Japanese, Eurasians, Caucasians, Asians.. whatever la..
There what also got.
And most of them are damn hawt @_@
